What is Drag Cabaret at The Anchor?
A great night out should be full of laughter, energy, and just the right amount of unpredictability. That’s exactly what Drag Cabaret at The Anchor delivers. Hosted by resident drag queen Nikki Manfadge, this is an evening where the ordinary is left at the door, and anything can happen.
Drag Cabaret is a high-energy, interactive night of drag, comedy, and entertainment. Whether it’s a game, a song, or an unexpected moment with the audience, no two nights are ever the same. Nikki leads the way with sharp humour, quick wit, and a style that’s as unfiltered as it is hilarious. If you’re looking for a night that’s anything but predictable, this is it.
The first Drag Cabaret night takes place on Friday, 28th March 2025, kicking off at 7pm. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to grab a seat, as once they’re gone, it’s standing room only. The pub’s weekday menu will be available from 6pm to 9pm for those who want to dine before the show.

Meet Nikki Manfadge – A Force of Nature on Stage
Nikki Manfadge isn’t your average drag queen. Since June 2024, she has been The Anchor’s resident drag performer, building a reputation for her no-nonsense humour, quick comebacks, and an unpredictable approach to entertainment.
Born on a Russian fishing trawler, raised in Sheffield, and destined for the stage, Nikki’s life has been anything but ordinary. Her sharp tongue and knack for getting into—and out of—trouble have shaped her into the performer she is today. From dodging bus fares in Meadowhall as a teenager to rubbing shoulders with high society through sheer charm and hustle, she’s lived a life full of stories, mishaps, and reinventions.
Nikki’s performance style is all about interaction. She’s known for working the room, drawing people into the show, and ensuring no one leaves without a story to tell. She’s foul-mouthed, sharp-witted, and utterly unpredictable. You might find yourself singing, competing in a game, or just crying with laughter at the madness unfolding around you.
There’s no script, no set routine—just pure entertainment that takes on a life of its own.
What to Expect on the Night
An Unpredictable Evening of Entertainment
The night officially starts at 7pm, but with limited seating available, early arrival is strongly advised. The weekday menu is available from 6pm to 9pm for those who want to grab a bite beforehand. Once seats are gone, it’s standing room only.
Drag Cabaret isn’t a typical drag show. Nikki decides the direction of the night as it happens, so expect surprises. There could be games, audience challenges, or even an impromptu karaoke battle. No one, not even the staff, knows exactly what’s coming next—and that’s what makes it so brilliant.
Who’s It For?
If you’re looking for a fun night out, this is for you. The event draws in locals, cabaret fans, and anyone who enjoys a good laugh. Whether it’s your first time at a drag event or you’re a regular, Nikki makes sure everyone is part of the fun.
There’s no dress code, no expectations—just a lively, welcoming atmosphere where anything goes.
