Tabs are Changing...
We are changing the way that we offer and manage bar tabs at The Anchor from September 1, 2019.
We will be offering tabs to those regular, loyal customers as a way to have a great night and keep the good times rolling.
Tabs will come with two, conditions:
1. A tab can only be valid for 7 days.
2. A tab cannot exceed £50 in value.
Once either of the two have been met, the tab will be marked as expired and must be settled before a subsequent tab can be opened. Management reserve the right to offer higher tab levels to those most loyal customers but only at management discretion.
How will I have to start a tab?
If you're a regular, the bar staff working will be happy to open a tab for you, as long as you don't already have one. You will have 7 days or £50 (whichever gets met first) to settle your tab.
Do I have to settle my existing tab before buying more drinks?
Yes, you must settle your tab before you are able to purchase additional drinks. For example, if you reach your £50 limit, you cannot pay for additional drinks until the tab has been cleared.
What will happen if I already have a tab?
Any tab that exceeds the limit on September 1 will expire that day and must be settled before additional products can be purchased. Any tabs under the £50 limit on September 1 will start their 7 days and expire on September 8.
What if I need a bigger tab for a party or event?
We have contracts where bigger tabs can be agreed for parties and events, we will work with anyone that needs a bigger tab for an event to agree on a figure.
What if I don't pay my tab at The Anchor?
In the event that someone fails to settle their tab once expired, we will no longer offer any products or services to them. We are very hopeful that our customers understand the need for a hard line to continue to grow The Anchor.
IMPORTANT: The entire team at The Anchor reserve the right to reject creation of a tab for any reason. We also continue to reserve the right to refuse service without reason collectively as a team.
