Thank you to everyone who came in and set a fantastic atmosphere during the game. It was a heart-wrenching day as our valiant Lionesses were narrowly defeated in the World Cup final. The entire nation watched with bated breath as England's journey in this historic World Cup campaign came to an end. Our players gave everything, and though the result did not go our way, they have undeniably raised the profile of women's football in England.

The scenes of our players being consoled on the pitch in Australia were hard to witness, but it's important to remember that they have inspired millions across the country. Mary Earps's standout performance, earning her the Golden Glove award, and her magnificent penalty save…
