Yes, you can bring your dog to The Anchor.
Dogs are welcome throughout the pub, on a lead. We'll have water bowls and biscuits waiting.
That goes for the bar, the dining area and the beer garden, any time we're open, event nights included. There's no size limit, and assistance dogs are always welcome.

Our dog policy
It's short, because we'd rather keep it simple:
- On a lead at all times. That includes the garden.
- Off the furniture, please.
- Any size. Small, big, enormous, all welcome.
- Poo bags are provided.
Ask at the bar if you can't see a water bowl. If your dog's nervous, or you'd like to check where you'll sit, give us a call on 01753 682707.
Sunday roast with your dog
Roasts are carved fresh every Sunday from 1pm to 6pm. There's nothing to order in advance, so walk in whenever suits you. Last seating is 5:30pm.
There's beef, pork and turkey, a fully vegan Wellington, and kids' roasts. Your dog can stay with you, on a lead, wherever you sit.
Booking's worth it for a group or a busy slot, but you don't have to. Book a table or see the Sunday roast.
The beer garden
The garden seats 64 and sits right under Heathrow's southern runway approach path. At busy times a plane comes over about every 90 seconds, 500 to 800 feet up. The landings swap each week: one week they're overhead until 3pm, the next from 3pm onwards.
We serve food and drink out there while the kitchen's open, and dogs stay on a lead in the garden like everywhere else. There's more about it on our beer garden page.

Walks nearby
Staines Moor and the King George VI Reservoir are each about 30 minutes' walk from the pub, so a walk followed by a pint works well. For more routes and where to park, see our guide to dog walks near Heathrow.

Food for you
The main menu has stone-baked pizzas, fish and chips, burgers and pies, plus vegetarian dishes and a kids menu. You can order from it on Sundays too, alongside the roast. Prices are live on the food menu.
Bringing the family too?
High chairs, buggy space and bottle warming on request are all here, and breastfeeding is welcome. We don't have baby changing facilities.
