July is made for relaxed serves. We chose this because it can go simple with cola, brighter with pineapple juice, or party-style as the base of a rum punch.
What to taste for
Tropical fruit sweetness, soft vanilla, gentle spice and a smooth rum finish. It is rounded rather than dry.
Best first serve
Pineapple juice over plenty of ice, finished with a squeeze of lime. Cola and lime works well if you prefer a darker, simpler serve.
Bar team tip: A squeeze of lime matters here. It reins in the sweetness and makes the tropical fruit taste fresher.
