About This Event
Quiz Night returns to The Anchor in Stanwell Moor on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, starting at 7pm and finishing at about 9.30pm. This is still our normal varied Quiz Night, with a light November flavour. Expect a few seasonal and historical touches around autumn and Bonfire Night, with any reference to Remembrance handled respectfully rather than used as a gimmick. The quiz is fast, friendly and easy to join, with rounds covering general knowledge, music, television, film, pictures and random facts. Expect quick-fire moments and a one-phone-per-player mini challenge. Teams can have up to six people, and newcomers are just as welcome as regular quiz teams. Entry is £3 per person and is paid in cash on arrival. The first-place team wins a £25 bar voucher, while second-to-last place receives a bottle of wine. Booking is strongly recommended so we can prepare a table for each team. The pub is open from 12pm. Our full dinner menu is served from 4pm to 9pm. Arrive early, order food and settle in before the quiz starts at 7pm. Food remains available through most of the event, although ordering before the first question is recommended. The Anchor is in Stanwell Moor, close to Heathrow and Staines, with free parking on site. Book the number of players coming, and bring £3 cash each for entry. After that it’s food, drinks and friendly competition on a Wednesday night.

Accessibility
Getting in from the car park is step free, and so are the bar and the dining area. The beer garden is step free straight from the car park. From inside, there's one step between the bar and the garden, and we'll put our ramp out for it if you ask. We don't have an accessible toilet. If you'd like to check what will work best for you, give us a call on 01753 682707 and we'll help. Assistance dogs are always welcome.
