New Year's Eve at The Anchor is a proper local party, with a DJ keeping things going, a midnight countdown to see in the new year together, and late opening until 1am. You can actually get served at the bar and settle in with people who want to be there.

Why The Anchor for New Year's Eve
No spending half the night in a queue. Just a village pub that knows how to throw a party, with 20 free parking spaces right outside for whoever's driving.
Free parking
We've 20 free spaces right outside. There's no time limit while you're with us, and nothing to register.
Actually get a drink
Unlike packed city bars, you can actually get to our bar. Draught lagers, bottled beers, wines, spirits and cocktails, all without the 20-minute queue.
Village pub atmosphere
A proper local celebration where you can chat, dance, and count down to midnight with people who actually want to be there.
Dog-friendly
Dogs are welcome throughout the pub, on a lead. We'll have water bowls and biscuits waiting.
Food & drink
There's no food on New Year's Eve: our kitchen is closed. Our kitchen's last day of the year is Sunday 20 December, and it's back on Tuesday 12 January. The bar is open until 1am.
Throughout the evening we'll have our full range of draught lagers, bottled beers, wines, spirits and cocktails.
